System Overview

Built on Engineering Excellence

Every Metron elevator is designed as a complete system—motor, suspension, control, structure, and cabin working together in balance.
This page explains the elevator types we offer and the motor and suspension technologies behind their performance, in a clear and non-intimidating way.

Elevator Types

Select the Right Elevator for the Right Environment

Each system is engineered around application intend flow, comfort, durability, or specialized load handling. Below is a clear overview of the elevator types available within Metron.

Motor & Control Technology

Gearless Motors, Advanced Suspension, Intelligent Control

To avoid confusion, we separate the system correctly: motor (machine), suspension method, and drive/control logic. Each layer contributes to ride comfort, efficiency, and long-term reliability.

Motor Type: Gearless

All Metron elevators use gearless motors for smooth rotation, high efficiency, and quiet performance. Gearless machines reduce vibration, minimize mechanical wear, and deliver refined ride quality over the long term.

Machine Room vs Machine Room-Less

Machine room (MR) systems place the gearless motor in a dedicated technical room. MRL systems integrate the motor within the shaft to save space and simplify architectural planning without compromising performance standards.

Suspension + Control System

MRL systems are available with conventional steel wire rope or next generation compact steel belt suspension. Motion is governed by the drive and control system (VVVF + intelligent logic), ensuring smooth acceleration, precise leveling, and calm ride behavior.
